How can you market your own TV Game Show through advertising across a range of platforms, including E-Media?
I can market my game show on television during the advert on the TV channel that it will be aired on and other channels that are under the same management. This will allow the audience to see what the game show is about and what it looks like. This will attract a large audience.
I would also use social media to advertise my game show. Social media is widely used throughout the world so by putting an advert on social media will allow millions of people to find out about my game show. There are a range of different social groups on different social media websites so by advertising on these websites I will attract different types of people to watch my game show.
I would also advertise my game show on the radio. Many people listen to the radio in the morning and all day in the car. By advertising on the radio will attract a lot of listeners. Also by advertising on the radio makes it more exciting because the listeners want to find out what it looks like as they can only hear what it is about. This will make a wider audience watch my game show.

Audience Interaction
Game shows incorporate audience interaction by asking questions. They sometimes get the audience to do a vote or for one to take part in a challenge. By doing this you involve the audience more in the game which makes the audience interact more.
You're back in the room interacts with the audience. When the contestants are hypnotised they sometime go and interact with an audience member in a funny way. This makes the audience feel more involved and makes it more interesting because the contestants don't know what they are doing because they are hypnotised. It makes it enticing because it is unpredictable what the contestants are going to do.
Another game shows that has audience interaction is lets make a deal. Each episode consists of several "deals" between the host and a member of the audience, referred to as "traders." Audience members are picked at the host's fancy as the show moves along, and couples are often selected to play together as traders. The deals are mini-games within the show that take several formats. this makes the show interesting because you don't know who is going to be picked to make a deal. The audience have come to have a chance of getting picked. The audience interact more to get the hosts attention to try and get picked to take part.Tuesday, 22 November 2016

Selecting contestants
What are the most important considerations for producers when selecting contestants?
When selecting the contestants the produces look for people who stand out from all the other people who apply for the show, they have something special about them or something has happened to them in their life. Also they may have a special occasion they want to celebrate such as proposing to someone which will be intriguing for the audience and will grab their attention. They may pick contestants that have a fear of something that's they have to face such as in a celebrity because it makes it more interesting for the audience to see how they will react. Another reason may be that they will make the program more amusing for the audience for example you see people on total wipeout that are terrible at it or people that dress up and have funny background stories to tell to make the audience laugh and continue watching the show. They would like to have a range of different personalities and even appearances on the show to differentiate the episodes to keep the audience engaged. The contestants mainly have to be funny, confident and outspoken, they need to be likeable by the target audience of the show.

Gameshow visual analysis
Wheel of Fortune
Aim of the game
Contestants guess hidden phrases by guessing letters one at a time. Contestants win money or prizes, as determined by a spin of the wheel, for each correct consonant they guess. But they have to pay to see what vowels are in a puzzle. The contestant that has amassed the most winnings at the end of a game goes on to play the bonus round, in which the player can win even more -- prizes frequently seen in the bonus round include automobiles, vacations and more cash
In the American series there is a panel that the contestants stand behind. Below each contestant there is a money value of how much they have won so far. After each round whoever won their money gets put into their 'bank' that appears at the top of the board with the questions on. The genre of each question is shown at the bottom of the screen for the audience to see so that they can play along as well. There is also a screen that displays the phrases with missing letters to guess, this is there for the contestants to see but also for the audience so that they can play along at home. This adds to the audiences enjoyment because rather that just sitting watching the show they can compete as well with other members of the family who are also watching to make it more exciting. On the wheel there are different values of money and some segments also have a prize such as a cruise. To advertise the prize that they could win on that round they show a short video to the contestants but also full screen to the audience so they know exactly what the contestants are playing for. There are different types of questions but with the same objective to guess the words or phrases. Some questions they have to choose letters others the letters appear one by one and they have to guess it when they can.

Jingles
Why are jingles important?
Jingles are important because they are the main part of the show that is catchy and people tend to recognise most, thing is whey they have to be a catchy tune with a good beat. If the tune is successful in being memorable the audience will be able to know when the show is coming on by hearing the intro that way they wont miss the show. A lot of into today are very popular and are a key part of the shows success, a lot of people find that the jingle is the best part of the game show because it is something that they can remember for years.
