Criteria:
Create a game show to air Monday to Friday at 3:30 to 4:30pm. The target audience for this show is educated men and women age 30+.
Pointless
Pointless is aired at 5:15pm on Mondays to Fridays every week. This game show is aimed at people 30+ who have a good general knowledge. In this game show the audience are encourages to play along at home and there are a series of questions based on different topics. The USP of this game show is that the aim is to get the lowest possible score rather than the highest. They have to find answers to the questions that none of the previously asked general public have not said. It is aimed at educated adults because a lot of the topics are past knowledge and present also the questions can be more difficult for a younger generation to answer.
Countdown
Countdown is aired at 2:10pm on Mondays through to Fridays every week. This game show is aimed at educated adults because it is challenging. The contestants have to find words out of a bunch of letters or make a number using certain numbers, therefore younger people would not be able to enjoy this show as it would be difficult to them making it boring. This shows USP is that there isn't another show like it, countdown has aired for decades so no one has copied their idea making it one of a kind. A famous aspect of countdown is the iconic countdown clock and the theme tune.
Eggheads
Eggheads is aired at 6pm on Mondays to Thursdays. The games shown is aimed at an older generation. The game show is a general knowledge quiz in which people challenge the 'eggheads' to beat them. The questions in this game show are based on older topics and are made for adults therefore younger people would not enjoy this programme because it would be difficult and less entertaining. The USP of this game show is that they get to choose one of the eggheads that they want to compete against. You can also compete in make me an egghead to become one of the eggheads on the show.
